The Opportunity

As our Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will be instrumental in enabling travel dreams to come true by finding the best people to join our team. In this role, you will actively and creatively source, identify, and engage passive and active candidates for current and future roles using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK Talent Search, and social media. 

Working with the People & Culture Manager, you will follow established frameworks and drive continuous improvement in all sourcing, screening, and due diligence activities to help TripADeal find the best staff possible.

Organisational Structure

This role will report to our Head of People & Culture, working in the passionate and dedicated People & Culture team. This permanent full-time position is 100% onsite working from our Gold Coast HeadQuarters, working Monday to Friday, 8-4pm or 9-5pm - you choose! From time to time you will be required to travel between all our TripADeal sites (Byron Bay, Varsity Lakes and Brisbane), so a full valid drivers' license is a must for this role. 

A Day in the Life

  • Undertaking recruitment activities by utilising recruitment software to perform duties including sourcing best talent, effectively screening candidates, and supporting the Head of People & Culture in building an attractive EVP and company culture 
  • Partnering with stakeholders on all recruitment matters and regularly recording and reporting activities 
  • Providing administrative support for end-to-end recruitment activities including creating job adverts, posting jobs, screening, interview coordination and/or attendance, and updating position descriptions 
  • Ensuring candidates are fully briefed on the role prior to interview and managing the offer and feedback process, ensuring the best candidate experience
  • Ensuring effective, efficient and timely administration in recruitment and onboarding, ensuring compliance with TripADeal's policies and employment legislation including producing letters of offer and employment agreements, entering staff details into the HRIS, background checks, certification vetting, and onboarding
  • Supporting the Head of People & Culture and wider team to cultivate a strong EVP and workplace culture through special projects, onboarding, and employer branding initiatives

To be a Front Running Candidate

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar role, with a passion for working alongside hiring managers and leading interviews to get the best possible outcome for the team and business
  • Actively and creatively source, identify, and engage passive and active candidates for current and future roles using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK Talent Search, social media platforms, and online databases.
  • Exemplary attention to detail, excellent systems and computer skills - Google Suite, Employment Hero, Workday and Scout Talent preferred
  • A high degree of customer service skill and experience to interact with candidates in a professional manner
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities through effective time management in order to deliver on stakeholder expectations 
  • Creative writing skills to be able to craft high impact advertisements to engage candidates
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including strong attention to detail 
  • Passion for learning and growth mindset
  • A warm, approachable, pragmatic and supportive style, with confidence to liaise with all levels of the organisation
  • Accountable, organised, self-directed and efficient
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and having difficult conversations with others
  • The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Qantas background check
