The Opportunity
As the Video Content Lead, you will spearhead our brand's video strategy, taking ownership of the creative vision and execution. You will lead our compact video team to develop and implement a results-driven strategy, producing commercially successful, engaging video content. This content must be driven by powerful storytelling that converts travel aspirations into bookings. The key to success in this role will be using your expertise in Premiere Pro, intermediate After Effects to roll out our weekly TVC’s and digital content.
Organisational Structure
This role will be based primarily from our HQ in Byron Bay with ability to commute to other TripADeal sites on an as needed basis. This role also has the option to do a work location split; 4 days a week from our Varsity Lakes office and 1day from our Byron HQ. The position offers flexible working hours between 8:00am to 4:00pm or 9:00am to 5:00pm - you choose! As a 100% on-site business, a full time in-office presence is required in this role to foster connection, collaboration, and results.
A Day in the Life
- Lead the entire video content creation lifecycle, personally executing major video campaigns and brand projects. Ensure all output is best-in-class and of high quality.
- You'll manage all incoming briefs from the business, assigning tasks, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring you have all the details to manage timelines effectively.
- Guide all video projects with a strategic mindset, from concept to completion, to ensure they meet key business objectives and achieve success.
- Dive into the performance of our content from digital video content to tvc, to identify what's working, celebrate successes, and uncover opportunities for improvement to the brands video content approach
- Act as the guardian of our brand voice, reviewing and editing all video content to ensure it meets the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and brand alignment.
- Guide and support the Video Team's performance, providing constructive feedback and hands-on help to ensure everyone succeeds and deadlines are met.
To be a Front Running Candidate
- A minimum 8 years experience as a best-practice video editor with a strong portfolio of video examples demonstrating strong visual storytelling and examples of work that not only looks good but performed well!. As well as, 2 years leadership experience.
- High level experience with Premiere Pro, mid to high level experience in After Effects
- Proven project management, organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively, all whilst delivering high quality video content.
- Experiencing editing and creating TVC promotional ads, with thorough knowledge of broadcast standards and requirements
- Experience producing content (short & long form) specifically tailored for social media platforms like instagram Reels, YouTube, Facebook and TikTok
- Thorough knowledge and familiarity with dynamic and impactful editing techniques, motion graphics, and mastering (colour grade and sound mixing)
- The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Qantas background check
