The Opportunity

The Head of Pricing and Yield will set the strategic direction for one of the most critical levers of our business performance. Extending beyond prices and inventory management, this role will shape how we complete, grow and maximise value across our entire portfolio. In a high-growth environment, you’ll harness analytics and partner with senior leadership to unlock new revenue opportunities and accelerate profitability. 

Organisational Structure

Reporting to our Chief Financial Officer, this is a permanent, full-time position based predominantly at our Byron Bay HQ, with the flexibility to work from our Varsity Lakes office as required.

A Day in the Life

  • Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of pricing and re-pricing strategies.
  • Strategically manage key inventory levers, including departure dates and group sizes, to maximise commercial performance.
  • Anticipate and respond to foreign exchange (FX) fluctuations to mitigate financial risk and safeguard profitability.
  • Identify and resolve pricing inconsistencies, capture margin opportunities, and translate data insights into clear, compelling business narratives.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses of product performance, linking marketing investment to revenue and margin outcomes to uncover trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Sourcing, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure pricing strategies are fully aligned with product development and go-to-market plans.

To be a Front Running Candidate

  • 8+ years of experience in revenue management / pricing strategy, with a proven track record of success.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or similar.
  • Proven strategy development and implementation experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex pricing strategies and influence a set diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with market research and competitive analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data findings clearly and concisely.
