The Opportunity

We are looking for a customer-focused Logistics Consultant to join us in a permanent, full-time capacity. You'll support TripADeal suppliers by collating and sending TripADeal customer bookings, helping their travel dreams come true. This position also involves preparing, collating, and sending customer travel documents, ensuring all relevant partner deadlines are met to support the Product team.

Organisational Structure

You'll report to our Customer Operations & Logistics Manager in a full-time permanent position. This role is based on-site from Monday to Friday, 8-4pm or 9-5pm - you choose! This role is based from our Byron Bay HQ.

A Day in the Life

  • Work as part of a team to coordinate with suppliers to secure group travel arrangements for TripADeal customers
  • As a part of a team, manage inbound and outbound supplier communications, as well as customer travel documentation
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure group travel arrangements run smoothly
  • Communicate booking information to external operators
  • Finalise and send final travel documentation to customers ahead of departure
  • Assist with customer and group booking emergencies when required
  • Provide support to our Product team when required

To be a front running candidate

  • Tertiary qualifications in customer service, event management, tourism, business, administration or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience 
  • Demonstrated experience using Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise tasks with a sense of urgency
  • Experience in travel industry is highly regarded
  • The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Qantas background check
