The Opportunity

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and optimising all paid digital performance marketing activity, including search, social, display, and programmatic channels. The role focuses on driving customer acquisition, improving campaign efficiency, and delivering measurable growth.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing, this role supports the broader Digital Marketing Portfolio Strategy and uses data-driven insights to reduce acquisition costs, grow new customer numbers, and contribute to business-wide goals. It requires a strong balance of strategic thinking, executional excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.

Organisational Structure

You'll report to our Head of Marketing in a full-time permanent position. This role is based on-site from Monday to Friday, 8-4pm or 9-5pm - you choose! This role can be based from our Byron Bay HQ or Varsity Lakes Office.

A Day in the Life

  • Lead digital marketing strategy across all paid channels to drive traffic, efficiency, and growth.
  • Manage performance optimisation to boost campaign ROI and customer acquisition.
  • Coordinate Digital Marketing Portfolio Strategy projects, aligning with broader digital goals.
  • Own the Digital Media Marketing function from planning to continuous improvement.
  • Lead strategic digital media initiatives, ensuring alignment with commercial and marketing goals.
  • Execute and manage campaigns directly on platforms like Google and Meta.
  • Oversee SEM budgets, optimising allocation and tracking spend for maximum ROI.

To be a front running candidate

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or equivalent
  • Digital strategy and execution experience centered around driving business growth
  • Experience with Paid Search platforms such as Google Ads, Search Ads 360
  • Experience leveraging and optimizing Meta Suite for maximum effectiveness.
  • Understanding the different digital media buying models such as CPC, CPM, CPB, CPA
  • Team leadership experience
  • Commercial acumen to make informed decisions at speed, centred around ROAS
  • Demonstrated experience managing campaigns from end-to-end including scoping, briefing, execution, optimisation and post analysis and evaluation.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills - a partnership-style approach when working with cross-functional teams to drive customer lifecycle strategies
  • Experienced using GA4
  • Social media performance tools such as Smartly 
  • Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBi
