The Opportunity

The team leader role will provide leadership to a stream of Travel Consultants that ensures our dealings with customers are professional and seamless, and instil a culture of best in class experience as we make travel dreams come true. This role will partner with other Sales & Service team leaders, and the wider-business to  drive continuous improvement activities that enable TripADeal to reach its business objectives.

Organisational Structure

This role will be based primarily from our Varsity Lakes office, located in the Gold Coast with ability to commute to other TripADeal sites on an as needed basis. 

As an on-site business, an in-office presence is required in this role to foster connection, collaboration, and results.

A Day in the Life

  • Lead your stream to live the Sales & Service philosophy
  • Ensure our customers experience is at its optimal 
  • Resolve any customer complaints
  • Oversee the accuracy of travel bookings
  • Proactively drive minimal wait times for inbound/outbound calls
  • Proactively identify and embed initiatives that secure all sales opportunities
  • Maintain and promote strict confidentiality in all matters. 
  • Be approachable & maintain strong relationships across the business
  • Monitors and corrects where required to maintain accuracy & quality of work. 

To Be a Front Running Candidate

  • Tertiary qualifications in customer service, event management, tourism, business, administration or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience 
  • Demonstrate experience working with Customer Relationship Management Systems, ideally Salesforce
  • Lead and communicate clearly to the team on required projects and processes
  • Collaborate across different departments to ensure a smooth process and positive customer experience
  • Communicate effectively with external stakeholders regarding customer travel arrangements
  • Able to resolve issues quickly and professionally and make decisions and clearly communicate outcomes
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead positively through change
  • Coach and develop the team to achieve their KPIs, SLA’s and Targets.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and priorities tasks with a sense of urgency
