The Opportunity
The Account Manager will work closely with Business Development Managers to build and maintain product packages, as well as work with other teams to meet product partner, marketing, and customer requirements and help nurture and maintain positive, productive relationships with assigned product partners.
This position will see you performing a key role in deal creation, supporting established merchant relationships and deal management tasks, and enabling TripADeal to create itineraries that make travel dreams come true!
Organisational Structure
You'll report to our Product Operations Manager, working closely with the wider Product team, other cross-functional teams across the business, and external vendors.
This permanent full-time position is 100% onsite working from our Byron Bay HQ, working Monday to Friday, 8-4pm or 9-5pm - you choose!
A Day in the Life
- Nurture and maintain positive, productive relationships with assigned product partners
- Enhance existing relationships by working with the partner to devise new products and marketing strategies
- Work closely with the BDM to secure package extensions, allocations and other post-live changes from product partners as required, in a timely and professional manner
- Work with Operational teams (Customer Service and Logistics) to meet partner and customer requirements
- Take ownership for resolving any issues that may arise with a specific product or package, by liaising with the partners involved to reach a solution
- Monitor and analyse trends within the travel market and devise strategies to maintain a competitive edge
- Support the development and delivery of custom-built travel packages for specific national marketing strategies
- Ensure partner communications are efficiently and effectively conveyed to other TripADeal departments as required
- Maintain a thorough understanding of global travel trends and seasonal booking windows and work strategically to leverage this
To be a Front Running Candidate
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Travel or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Possess a professional and positive approach to supporting internal and external stakeholders
- Strong account management skills with the ability to build and nurture relationships
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated experience with Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as autonomously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines
- Results oriented with strong problem solving skills
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to adapt to change
- Organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in the travel industry (highly desirable)
- Salesforce or other CRM system experience (highly desirable)
- The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Qantas background check
