Our Travel Consultants represent the TripADeal brand, providing first-class customer service and travel advice in all customer interactions before, during, and after the sale.

A Day in the Life

As the initial point of contact for customer enquiries, this role is responsible for delivering an exceptional level of customer service by providing travel advice and guiding customers through our travel offerings, with the purpose of converting enquiries into sales.

You will work closely with a passionate team of Travel Consultants who live and breathe travel to achieve team and individual goals while supporting our customers to have their travel dreams come true.

 

Organisational Structure

Reporting to a Team Leader within our highly successful Sales & Service team, this is a permanent opportunity available within our predominantly inbound call centre! This is a high-volume call-based position, working 100% onsite in our Varsity Lakes office, located in the Gold Coast. Remote and or hybrid arrangements are not available.

This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week over 5 days. Our operating hours span 7 days a week, from 8am to 7pm, Monday through Sunday. You will be scheduled on a rotating roster, working 1 in 3 weekends, with two weekdays off. The team also works on public holidays, which are incentivised along with weekend shifts.

 

To Be a Front Running Candidate

  • Tertiary qualifications in Tourism, Hospitality or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience working in the travel industry, delivering exceptional customer service to a range of customers
  • Proven track record in reaching and achieving team and individual KPIs
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to navigate multiple systems at once
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong rapport over the phone
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of passionate Travel Consultants, as well as independently
  • The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Qantas background check
