The Opportunity
The Marketing & Social Media Coordinator will assist in and help to execute the delivery of a results-driven marketing and social media strategy for TripADeal.
This position works closely with various members of the marketing team as well as stakeholders across the wider business to deliver marketing activities and ensure media and messaging are best in class, enabling travel dreams to come true!
Organisational Structure
You'll report to our Marketing Manager and work closely with the wider marketing team to achieve objectives and goals together.
This permanent full-time position is 100% onsite working from our Byron Bay HeadQuarters, Monday to Friday, 8-4pm or 9-5pm - you choose!
A Day in the Life
- Create and execute a results-driven social media strategy including reporting and analysis
- Research audience preferences and discover current trends
- Create briefs to collaborate with our creative team on campaign, editorial and informative style content on our social channels, all whilst remaining true to brand
- Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content and design of posts, ensuring engaging, relevant brand content that speaks to our target market audience
- Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
- Oversee social media accounts’ layout
- Contribute to the activation of TripADeal’s campaign calendar for brand, tactical, and digital marketing activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure campaign requirements can be implemented as planned and as per campaign timelines
- Support the team to deliver marketing and advertising materials to external vendors/partners as required
- Collaborate with product team to support accurate deal scheduling across marketing activities
- Assist in channel, campaign, and project reporting
- Provide general administrative support for any ad hoc marketing activity to the Marketing Manager
To be a Front Running Candidate
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience
- A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience with organic social media and marketing coordination
- Deep understanding of social media platforms
- Experience using social media management tools including Google Analytics
- Familiarity with traditional and digital marketing channels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptionally strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously and work to short deadlines
- The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Qantas background check
