The Opportunity

We are on the lookout for an experienced and talented Flights Consultant to work in our dedicated Flights team, ensuring end to end flight operations are managed, and providing a first-class customer experience to both our first-time, and returning customers.

The successful incumbent will hold experience in ticketing and post ticketing resolution and will provide support to our internal teams to ensure all post ticketing queries are handled efficiently and accurately - and to give the best possible experience for our TripADeal customers and our internal customers!

 

Organisational Structure

This role report to our Flight Operations Manager, and works in a team that are dedicated to efficiently and effectively bringing the destination experience to life, seeing travel dreams come true. 

This permanent full-time position is 100% onsite working from our Byron Bay Head Quarters or Varsity Lakes Gold Coast office, working Monday to Friday, 8-4pm or 9-5pm - you choose!

 

A Day in the Life

  • Providing first-class customer service to both our first time and returning TripADeal customers
  • Conducting searches to find the best available airfares available for our valued customers
  • Booking and issuing documentation for airline tickets, lounge passes, and stopovers ensuring they are correct and accurate at all times
  • Performing ticketing requirements in an accurate and timely manner
  • Delivering a seamless post-booking experience to customers
  • Securing approved travel needs for staff travel when required

 

To be a Front Running Candidate

  • Tertiary qualifications in customer service, event management, tourism, business, administration or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience
  • 2+ years experience using a GDS, preferably Sabre
  • Experience using Google sheets is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in managing high volume of post ticketing requests
  • Sound working knowledge and expertise in international airlines, with the know how to navigate complicated international airfares
  • Strong attention to detail & focus on accuracy
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Qantas background check
